Kenna here! There we were, standing at the checkout with a tub of Greek yogurt, some graham crackers, and a wallet without a card inside and no cash to speak of. Talk about embarrassing.
Then just as we were asking that cashier if he could hold onto our groceries until we could come back, the kindest man popped out of nowhere and insisted on paying for our items. We told him that we were fine and that we would just come back later, but he insisted.
Walking back to the car, I couldn’t help but get a little teary. I want to be like that when I grow up!
(I’ve never cried over a tub of Greek yogurt and a box of graham crackers, but I guess there’s a first for everything)
There are so many kind, spur of the moment, and just plain down-to-earth people on this planet. #FaithInHumanityRestored

They say that humility is a virtue, and I am all for that kind of stuff, but I’ve gotta say, these ended up being PRETTY STUPENDOUS. I can easily say that these heaven-kissed, lemon-lush cupcakes will confirm the notion that happiness really can be baked (especially when they’re make with lemons fresh off the tree!)
On to the recipe!
If you need us, we’ll be eating these in the pantry.
